Therapy is about change.

The kind of change you haven't been able to make on your own.

I am a therapist with over 30 years experience who offers compassionate, focused therapy for adults.

I specialize in trauma resolution techniques called EMDR and Lifespan Integration that can gently and rapidly remove blocks to current progress that are related to past events. Some traumas clear in only one to three sessions.

I also use Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, which is helpful in treating depression and anxiety and leaves you with emotion management skills you can use for a lifetime.

I have a profound belief that positive change is possible for everyone. Entering therapy means that you have decided to step onto the path towards change and start walking. You don't have to know where you'll end up. You don't have to know how to get there. We will discover that together. I would be honored to walk beside you and be a part of your journey.

My style is warm, humorous and compassionate, but also very focused. I'm not a therapist who simply listens and asks you how you feel. My job is to ask the kind of questions that get you thinking in new ways, to be gentle when you need emotional support, and to challenge you when you need help to get moving. We will frequently review your goals and will alter course if the change you want isn't happening. While over 30 years as a therapist has made me good at identifying patterns and getting people through blocks to progress, I know that each person who comes to see me is an individual. I work to stay curious and open, to be flexible in both my assessment and my approach.

I work with adult women and men of any sexual orientation and with people of any gender identity. While the issues I work with most are PTSD/Trauma, Depression, Anxiety and Chronic Pain/Chronic IllnessI also have experience working with relationship issues, parenting and blended family issues, and working with people in recovery from addiction.

*I am currently seeing clients via video/telehealth only. Due to state laws, I can only see telehealth clients who are residents of Washington State.
